GregLanier > Notice all the dead salmon everywhere...even though the season is over there is a salmon every 5' throughout these two rivers. It's an incredible sight to see so many fish and this was well past the peak of the season. I'd mentioned earlier how there were dead fish everywhere and this shows how the bears pull the salmon out of the water, eat their favorite part of the fish and then just discard them on the rocks. When we were walking to river we started smelling something awful but by the time we got to the river and saw all the dead fish it was obvious where the smell was coming from. At least it wasn't hot, it could have smelled a lot worse.
