GregLanier > This was taken on Thanksgiving day at the perfect time of day with perfect light and conditions.

GregLanier > This is the first lake on the right as you enter. We've found that every evening right at dark about 6-8 ducks come in there and spend the night. Each morning shortly after daylight they take off. I guess they feel like it's a good place to sleep.

GregLanier > I took three shots of this and blended them together because it was just after sunset and cloudy. I just liked the muted colors.

GregLanier > HDR; This and a few others were taken using high dynamic range methods. Basically take 3, 5 or 7 photos with your camera mounted on a tripod. Bracket the photos so that some are darker and others lighter than the usual exposure. You take them through Photoshop and blend the best tones of all the photos. With the right photos it's very nice and this one was taken almost at sunset as you can see.

GregLanier > Perfect example of how a photo can't capture every scene. This is a really neat looking place but I just can't seem to do it justice with my camera. I'll keep trying different views and times of year.

GregLanier > Chewacla Creek soon after some heavy rains. On the left we have built up the side of the creek with stone to keep it from washing.
